The General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs released joint information about the murder of two women in Tovuz.

The joint information received by APA from the General Prosecutor's Office states that the investigation carried out professionally by the prosecutor's office and police officers regarding the fact that the owner of the house Yagut Guliyeva and her fellow villager Haqiket Jabbarova died as a result of a fire in a private house in the village of Ibrahimhajili, Tovuz district, at around 03 o'clock on July 25 - as a result of operational measures, the crime committed under non-obvious conditions was solved by "hot traces" and their intentional killing was determined.


According to articles 120.2.1 (intentional homicide by a group of persons) and 120.2.7 (murder of two or more persons) and 120.2.11 (murder due to robbery, threat) of the Criminal Code related to the fact a criminal case has been initiated.


With the conducted investigative and operational measures, the residents of that village entered the house belonging to Yagut Guliyeva for the purpose of theft as a group of persons who had conspired with Eljan Bagirov, born in 2003, and D. Dadashov, born in 2005 (conditional), and then Haqikat Jabbarova and Yagut Reasonable suspicions were established that Guliyeva killed them with a knife and set the house on fire in order to prevent exposure of their criminal acts due to seeing them.


E.Bağırov and D.Dadashov were involved as accused persons under the mentioned articles of the Criminal Code and preventive measures were taken against them.


Investigative and operative measures are being continued.
