In the last three days, 22 new cases of the infection have been found in the region, there are two deceased men aged 90 and 84, who are the first deaths in the district since June 16.

There are currently 108 people with an active infection in Montansko, and 17 of them are hospitalized.

In 10 of the 11 municipalities of the region, there are 40 people in Montana, 16 people in Lom, 13 people in Chiprovtsi, and 11 people in Berkovitsa.

There are the fewest sick people in the municipalities of Yakimovo - 3 people and in Georgi Damyanovo - 1 person, and in the municipality of Medkovets there is not a single active case.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in the Montana region, 19,992 people have been diagnosed with the disease, 18,715 people have been cured, and 1,169 people have died.

There are currently 86 people under home quarantine, the health inspectorate in Montana said.
