The death toll from a building collapse in Iran has risen to 31.

APA's Tehran bureau reports that the bodies of two more people were removed from the rubble of the building.

Iranian Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said there were many people under the rubble and the death toll would rise.

On May 23, part of the building of a 10-storey shopping center under construction in the city of Abadan, Khuzestan province, collapsed.
