19 teams of high school students conducted the last test flight of gliders at Hajigabul airport.

APA reports that the Turkish Technological Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey in preparation for the first TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Aerospace and Technology Festival in Baku on May 26-29. The last test flight of the "Planer" competition took place.

It should be noted that 12 teams from the Azerbaijan National Aviation Academy, 3 teams from the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, 2 teams from Khazar University, 1 team from the Baku Higher Oil School and 1 team from the Azerbaijan Technical University took part in the competition.

The teams flew their legendary ASW 28 and Walker Sky X8 gliders at an altitude of 100-150 m for 5 minutes on a given route.

During the evaluation, the jury will evaluate the design of the airspace equipment, accurate telemetry, programming, autonomous flight mechanism, data collection and practical implementation of relevant geography through various sensors and useful cameras as critical selection criteria.

The names of the teams that qualified for the TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan festival will be announced by the jury on May 24.
