Tesla has finally started taking orders for its semi-electric truck.

As it is known, Tesla was one of the first companies to introduce an all-electric truck, but after the introduction in 2017, other companies put their models on the market, while Tesla's Semi has not yet entered the production process.

However, after five years of official introduction and the promise that it will be available from 2019, Tesla Semi can finally be commissioned.

To book a truck, you must pay $ 5,000 in advance and then an additional $ 15,000 to confirm the booking.

The first payment can be refunded, but when the second amount is paid, the money will not be refunded in case of cancellation of the order.

There is no official delivery date for the truck yet, but it is expected in 2023.

Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk said in April that 2023 would be a "big year for the company" as he wants to start producing Semi trucks, Cybertruck trucks and Roadsters.
