A young mother,

, is raising a four-year-old son, Ivan, and a daughter, Maria, who recently turned two years old. 

In order to protect the vulnerable psyche of her children, the singer tries not to tell them about the horrors of the war that is currently taking place in Ukraine.

Tarabarova believes that children themselves will be able to find out all the details when they become older.

"Mariyaka is only two years old, so she doesn't understand anything yet. Ivan is four years old, of course, he already understands more, but we are trying to protect him from the horrors of war. When he grows up, he will learn everything," Svitlana shared with Channel 24.

Now the singer tries to spend as much time as possible with the little one, but sometimes she has to be on business trips with charity performances.

As Tarabarova said, a nanny helps her with the children.
