There is talk of removing Xi Jinping from the post of head of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China.

New Delhi:

Many reports of Chinese President Xi Jinping being placed under house arrest are being shared on the Internet.

According to several posts on social media, Xi Jinping has been removed from the post of head of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) and has been placed under house arrest.

However, neither the country's ruling Communist Party of China nor the state media have yet officially confirmed the news.

Let us tell you that Xi Jinping recently attended the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Uzbekistan.

Here he interacted with many other heads of state.

During this, he came face-to-face with Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the first time after the border skirmish between India and China in 2020.

Several Twitter users posted about Xi's alleged house arrest on Saturday.

Some even claimed it was a military coup and that PLA vehicles are already moving towards the capital, Beijing.

A person named Jennifer Zeng tweeted, "#PLA military vehicles heading to #Beijing on 22nd Sept.

The convoy starts from Huanlai County near Beijing and ends in Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province.

The entire convoy is 80 KM long.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that #XiJinping has been placed under home arrest after the CCP's superiors removed him as the head of the PLA.

Another user, Gordon Ji Chang, said, "This video of military vehicles going to Beijing is immediately after the grounding of 59 percent of flights in the country and the jailing of senior officials. There is a fire somewhere inside. China is unstable."

This video of military vehicles moving to #Beijing comes immediately after the grounding of 59% of the flights in the country and the jailings of senior officials.

There's a lot of smoke, which means there is a fire somewhere inside the #CCP.

#China is unstable.

On Twitter, unverified reports about a commercial flight taking off from Beijing have also been shared.

Some Chinese experts claim there is no sign of a coup so far beyond commentary on social media.

Adil Brar, a Chinese expert, said Xi Jinping could be placed in quarantine after his return from Uzbekistan, which would explain his absence from public affairs.

No flights are canceled anywhere.

Look at number of flights in and out of China.

China sentenced two former ministers to death earlier this week, following speculation about Xi Jinping's detention.

Two ministers and four other officials, who were sentenced to life imprisonment, are reportedly part of a 'political faction'.
