According to several posts on social media, Xi Jinping has been removed from the post of head of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA) and has been placed under house arrest.

However, neither the country's ruling Communist Party of China nor the state media have yet officially confirmed the news.

The entire convoy is 80 KM long.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that #XiJinping has been placed under home arrest after the CCP's superiors removed him as the head of the PLA.

On Twitter, unverified reports about a commercial flight taking off from Beijing have also been shared.

Some Chinese experts claim there is no sign of a coup so far beyond commentary on social media.

Adil Brar, a Chinese expert, said Xi Jinping could be placed in quarantine after his return from Uzbekistan, which would explain his absence from public affairs.
