The health condition of former Bosnian Serb military leader Ratko Mladic

The chief of staff did not improve, he was released from the prison hospital of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRCMT) and returned to his cell in Scheveningen prison, his son Darko Mladic told Tanjug, BTA reports.

Mladic, who is serving a life sentence for genocide and war crimes, was hospitalized in "poor health" about two weeks ago.

In June 2021, the MOMNT upheld Mladic's life sentence for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes committed during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war.
