After the Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan

, the Congress is going to rally today at Beneshwar Dham, a famous pilgrimage site in South Rajasthan.

Rahul Gandhi and Ashok Gehlot will address this rally to reach the tribal vote bank.

Rahul will also visit Baneshwar temple.

Beneshwar Dham is situated on the bank of Mahi river and adjoins the tribal region of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

By rallying in Beneshwar, the Congress has planned to reach out to the tribals of the three states.

Elections are to be held in Gujarat later this year and MP and Rajasthan next year.

The tribal vote bank has always been important to the Congress, but the recent rise of the BTP or the Bharatiya Adivasi Party has affected this traditional Congress vote bank in both Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Earlier, while addressing the Congress's Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi announced that the Bharat Jodo Yatra would be started from Kashmir to Kanyakumari on behalf of the party.

Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi said that we will start 'National Kanyakumari to Kashmir India Couples Yatra' from October 2 on Gandhi Jayanti.

All youth and all leaders will take part in this yatra. At the end of her short address, Sonia Gandhi asserted thrice that "we will win, we will win, we will win - this is our resolve, this is our resolve."
