Islamabad:

A Pakistan magistrate on Saturday issued an arrest warrant against former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a case of threatening a woman judge.

Since then, those speculations got air that he could also be arrested.

It may be mentioned that while addressing a rally on August 20, Khan had made controversial remarks against Additional District and Sessions Judge, Zeba Choudhary.

Following this, a case was registered against former Prime Minister Khan at Margalla police station in the capital.

The Islamabad High Court had initiated contempt proceedings against him. 

In the said case, a local magistrate issued an arrest warrant on the request of the police.

The Pakistan-Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief was earlier booked under terrorism-related laws, but the charges were dropped on the directions of the Islamabad High Court and the case was transferred from an anti-terrorism court to a normal sessions court. was done.
