The Chamber of Commerce of North-Western Macedonia announces that their request for the determination-limitation of the maximum fixed margin for electricity distributors to the Ministry of Economy, was accepted today in the governmental session and was approved.

"On 25.08.2022, OEMVP sent a proposal of measures to the Ministry of Economy for overcoming or mitigating the energy crisis.

In that letter OEMVP addressed 11 proposals, among which was the last one, which today passed in the governmental session".

"The efforts of OEMVP continue to take place in the creation of macroeconomic policies, and as such the Chamber continues to protect business and the economy in general, thus addressing in time the remarks and demands of its membership", say OEMVP.

Otherwise, the Government in today's session approved and accepted today two proposals of the Ministry of Economy, through which it is intended to help companies in terms of electricity supply at this time of the energy crisis.

"We made a decision to help the companies that are in the free market, in terms of electricity supply, and we defined the margin that they can implement when they make contracts for electricity supply, which cannot be more than 10 percent, referring to the price of the HUPX stock exchange (Hupex), which is the reference stock exchange for the Republic of North Macedonia in terms of electricity," stated Kreshnik Bekteshi./Telegrafi/
