Real Madrid are in a fantastic position at this point in the 2021/22 season and this is working to the detriment of Los Blancos as no one wants to leave the club in January.

Carlo Ancelotti knows who is on his favored squad on match days, and as such there are players who are not needed for the rest of the season.

In recent seasons, the January deadline has been open to Real Madrid players who had no minutes and could leave, as happened with Alvaro Odriozola and Andriy Luni in 2020.

However, 2022 a change, with none of the club players seeking to make a difference, even those who do not play.

Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco will all be available for free transfers on June 30, and the club was ready to make a deal for the entire trio this January, but there have been no offers.

The moves of Bale and Isco may still happen ahead of schedule, can not be completely ruled out, but to say that there are receptions in Madrid would be a lie.

Eden Hazard is another player who has no minutes, but his departure from the club will be complex for the fact that he has three years left on his contract.

Jesus Vallejo and Mariano Diaz will continue to wait for a chance that seems impossible, but they do not want to leave the club.

This means that Los Blancos expect a very smooth end to the winter term.
