Great Britain has imposed sanctions against people who participated in the "referendums" in Ukraine.

According to the report of APA's British bureau, referring to the British Foreign Ministry, the sanctions targeted high-level Russian officials who played a role in the implementation of illegal referendums in four regions of Ukraine, as well as Putin's favorite PR agency.

Foreign Minister James Cleverley announced today that Russia has announced 92 sanctions in response to Russia's use of fake referendums in four regions of Ukraine.

He said that this "referendum" clearly violates international law, including the UN Charter.

Among the persons subject to sanctions are the head of the government established in Kherson, Vice Admiral of the Russian Navy Sergey Yeliseyev, the Minister of Education and Science of the so-called "Luhansk People's Republic" Ivan Kusov, Yevgeny Balitsky, who was appointed the head of the so-called government in Zaporozhye, the chairman of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" Deputy Evgeni Solntsev also has names.

In addition, four other oligarchs, whose combined global fortunes today are estimated to be worth £6.3 billion, have also been sanctioned for supporting or benefiting from the Russian government and operating in strategically important sectors.

God Nisanov and Zarah Iliev, known as the "kings of Russian real estate", are among the persons subject to sanctions.

They have a combined fortune of £2 billion.

Iskander Mahmudov, president and founder of Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Igor Makarov, president and owner of ARETI International Group, were also sanctioned.

Today's package of sanctions also includes the names of 55 members of the management board of organizations affiliated with the Russian state.

IMA Consulting, known as Putin's favorite PR agency, was also sanctioned.

"IMA" company is the company that manages the public campaigns of these "referendums" and supports their implementation in four temporarily controlled areas.
