The European Union (EU) plans to ban the import of caviar, alcohol and cigarettes from Russia.

APA reports that "EUobserver" newspaper published information about this.

It is also noted that it is planned to impose bans on "Alros", a huge Russian company.

In addition, the EU intends to add 29 Russian citizens to the blacklist, including political scientist and philosopher Alexander Dugin, musicians Yuliya Chicherina, Oleg Gazmanov and Nikolai Rastorguyev.

The restrictions to be applied may also affect new contracts with "Gazprom Neft", "Rosneft" and "Transneft".

The European Commission and the European External Relations Service put forward these proposals on September 28, which include banning EU citizens from cooperating with the Kremlin.
