British Prime Minister Liz Truss had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to APA's British bureau, Prime Minister Liz Truss emphasized the continued support of Great Britain against the backdrop of fake referendums held by Russia in Ukraine.

The Prime Minister has made it clear that the UK will never recognize Russia's attempts to annex Ukraine's sovereign territories.

He reiterated that Ukraine can count on the support of Great Britain until Putin is defeated.

President Zelensky informed the Prime Minister about the current military situation.

Liz Truss thanked President Zelenksy for his work in freeing five British citizens held by Russia in Eastern Ukraine.



The leaders also discussed joint efforts to ensure gas supply.
