The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the participants of the first international parliamentary conference "The future of transport".

The meeting discussed the good interstate relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the countries participating in the conference, as well as the potential and opportunities for strengthening cooperation.

Prime Minister Kurti stressed the progress made this year in economic and democracy indicators, for the successful management of the pandemic, and for the goals of the Republic of Kosovo for membership in the Council of Europe and the NATO Partnership for Peace program.

He singled out the investments of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in railways, the energy policy 2022-2030 for Kosovo and the government's priorities for investments in renewable energy.

In addition to expressing gratitude for the visit to Kosovo, the participants emphasized their readiness for their commitment in order to deepen interstate cooperation, increase trade exchanges, investments and tourism development.

Present were the chairmen of the Parliamentary Committees on Environment and Transport and members of these committees from Turkey, Estonia, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, together with the chairwoman of the Committee on Environment, Food, Agriculture, Planning and Development of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
