The Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, will not visit Kiev together with the Prime Ministers of Albania and Montenegro, Edi Rama and Dritan Abazovic.

The Government of Macedonia announced that the Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski did not accept the invitation of the Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic for a joint visit to Kiev.

They say the prime minister's agenda is currently busy and that such a visit to Ukraine is planned for the future.

"The invitation for a visit you are asking about and which was initiated by Ukrainian President Zelenski refers to an extremely intense period in the prime minister's agenda and due to the inability to change it, unfortunately we could not respond positively.

Our support for Ukraine and the brave Ukrainian people is clear and unreserved.

We are grateful for the invitation for a visit which we believe will be realized soon ", they say from the Government.

Abazovic had previously accepted the invitation of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, to visit Kiev, after which he initiated the idea for the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, and the Prime Minister of Northern Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, to travel with him.
