PM will reach Red Fort on Monday at 7.18 am

New Delhi:

India is going to celebrate its 75th Independence Day on Monday.

It is being celebrated by the government as the nectar festival of freedom.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag for the ninth time in a row from the ramparts of the Red Fort and address the nation.

The Prime Minister will unfurl the national flag at 7.30 am.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made by Delhi Police.

More than 10,000 personnel have been deployed around the Red Fort from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation.

15 August 2022 schedule

  • Prime Minister will reach Raj Ghat at 7.06 am, after paying homage to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, he will leave for the Red Fort.

  • The Prime Minister will reach the Red Fort on Monday at 7.18 am.

    Where he will be received by the Defense Minister, the Minister of State for Defense and the Chiefs of the three services.

  • The Prime Minister will be given a guard of honor by the three wings of the army at 7.19 am.

  • The Prime Minister will unfurl the tricolor on Monday morning at 7.30 am.

    After which the tricolor will be saluted.

  • 7.32 am - Indian Air Force helicopters will shower flower petals on the ramparts.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from 7.33 minutes.
