Dead bodies of mother and two daughters found from a house in Delhi's Vasant Vihar

New Delhi:

Three members of the same family were found dead in a flat in Delhi's Vasant Vihar area late on Saturday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Manju and her daughters Anshika and Anku.

It is being told that the head of the house i.e. husband died in April 2021 due to corona.

Since then the family was in a lot of depression.

Manju was in bed due to illness. 

Police had received information that house number 207 of Vasant Apartment is locked from inside and people inside the house are not opening the door.

After this, when the SHO reached the spot along with the staff, he saw that the doors and windows were closed from all sides.

The flat was locked from inside.

When the police opened the door, they found that the gas cylinder was partially open.

According to a senior police officer, on Saturday night at 8.55 pm, the police got information that flat number 207 of Vasant Apartment located in Vasant Vihar is locked from inside and the people of the house are not giving any answer.

Police found a suicide note from the spot.  

On searching the inner room, three bodies were found lying on the bed and three small fires were kept in the room.

South-West Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Manoj C said that it is believed that he died of suffocation.
