Three workers died in a fire at a factory manufacturing battery cells in Faridabad.

A fire broke out in Faridabad this morning due to a short circuit in a factory manufacturing lithium battery charging cells located in Sector 37.

Due to this, three workers working in the factory died.

The police have sent the bodies to BK Hospital.

Post-mortem is being done.

Police said that at around 11:00 am today, the ERV team received information that a fire broke out in the factory in Sector 37 area. 

On information, the police team reached the spot.

The police removed it in view of the safety of the people present there.

The fire brigade was also called to the spot.

The fire brigade team reached the spot and tried to extinguish the fire, but the fire had spread very much in the factory, which was extinguished and the factory burnt down. 

After extinguishing the fire, the police team went inside the factory where they found the bodies of three persons.

They were identified as Satveer, Sunil and Ankit, residents of Lal Kuan in Delhi.

Police have sent the bodies to BK Hospital for post-mortem.

Police investigation revealed that lithium battery cells of vehicles were made in this factory.

The name of the owner of the factory is Ajay.

Police is investigating in the matter.

Further action will be taken as per the complaint of the relatives of the deceased.
