Turkish company Baykar has released footage of the latest test flights of the new unmanned aerial vehicle Bayraktar DIHA.

APA TV reports quoting Turkish media that the 1.5-meter-long device has wings of 5 meters, weighs 30 kilograms and weighs less than 5 kilograms.

It can stay in the air for up to 12 hours and has a maximum flight distance of 150 kilometers.

The difference between DIHA and the company's previous models is the possibility of vertical flight and landing.

Engineers say that another reason that distinguishes it from other models is that it is not only for military purposes.

Bayraktar DIHA can also be used by the police in civilian areas.

Baykar believes that Bayraktar DIHA will break the sales record.

It should be noted that the presentation of the vertical flight and landing unmanned aerial vehicle took place as part of the International Festival of Aviation, Space and Technology "Teknofest-2021" in Turkey.
