In connection with the received signals for gross violations of public order and the availability of data on crimes committed, a specialized police operation has been launched on the territory of Pernik today, the press center of the Ministry of Interior announced.
The purpose of the increased police presence is to identify, detain and prevent persons from the active criminal contingent, gather information about prepared or committed crimes of a general nature or violations of public order in the regional city, and ensure the safety of residents.
On the occasion of the case of June 11 on the cause of moderate bodily injury, ODMVR - Pernik clarified that in the First Regional Court of the suspected 18-year-old youth three pre-trial proceedings were instituted for various offenses.

On 12.05.2022 pre-trial proceedings were instituted under Art. 129, para. 2 of the Penal Code for the fact that on April 9, 2022 he beat a 24-year-old man from Pernik.
In the course of the initial procedural-investigative actions information was received about three more incidents / beatings / with his participation - in November 2021 in a restaurant, on 11.12.2022 - in the area of a disco in the center of Pernik, and in March 2022 - near Krakra Hall in the regional town.
On 20.05.2022 the materials on the case were reported to the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik.
On May 29, 2022, another pre-trial proceeding was initiated, after according to data so far in a restaurant in Pernik, after a beating, the young man caused moderate bodily injury to a 51-year-old man from Pernik. A friend of the victim came to the rescue, who fired an air pistol, injuring the 18-year-old in the leg. During the actions on the spot it was found that the young man was holding a knife in his hand.
On 30.05.2022 the materials on the case were sent to the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik.

The last case is from June 11, 2022, when a message was received from a Sofia medical institution about a 61-year-old man from Pernik with a broken jaw on both sides. Pre-trial proceedings under Art. 129, para 2 of the Penal Code, in the course of which it was established that the attack took place at around 2 pm on the same day in front of a restaurant in the center of the regional town, the victim was hit in the face. The 18-year-old was identified as an accomplice.
He was detained on June 12, 2022 and released on medical grounds.
In the course of the investigation 5 persons were identified and interrogated, and recordings from security cameras were added.
On 13.06.2022 the materials on the case were reported to the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik.
According to information from the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik, as of 15.06.2022 the three pre-trial proceedings were sent to the Supreme Prosecution Office for further ruling on the distribution of a supervising prosecutor.
