, shows that the FBI sought evidence that Trump's misuse of classified documents, including some classified as top secret, violated three criminal laws.

Most notably, a search warrant issued by U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart and approved by Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized FBI agents to seize material that could constitute evidence that Trump violated the Espionage Act under 18 USC 793 and Obstruction, under 18 USC 1519.

FBI agents found classified documents marked top secret when they searched Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago mansion on Monday.

Federal agents seized a number of Top Secret/SCI documents at the property.

Agents also found four sets of the lowest-level secret documents, three sets of "secret" documents and three sets of "confidential" documents - the lowest level of secrecy.
