Nails need extra care

We often forget, but nails require a little extra care.

This is especially important if they are fragile and weak.

If you have brittle nails, you should pay more attention to your diet and consume certain nutrients.

It is important to drink enough water and consume enough protein, fruits and vegetables, Telegraph reports.

When it comes to vitamins and minerals that are especially important for beautiful and strong nails, B complex vitamins (especially biotin) then iron, calcium, zinc and selenium help you.

Also, to prevent nails from peeling and grow them faster, regularly apply a moisturizing cream to avoid drying out the nails and the skin around them.

This is especially important if you keep your nails in water for a long time, either because you do water sports, if you constantly get your hands wet because of housework, or if you simply wash your hands often.

Try to always dry your hands well with a towel, but when possible, protect the skin of your hands with rubber gloves.

Treat the skin around the nails with herbal oils and during application always do a light massage of the area around the nails - this way you will stimulate blood circulation and thus the nails will be healthier and grow faster.

Avoid using harsh nail polish removers and always wash and dry your hands thoroughly after removing nail polish and apply a nourishing curative cream.
