The Food and Veterinary Agency informs that six cases of swine infection with African Plague have been detected in the country, such as: Damça, Piance, Koçan, Ceshinovo, Obleleshevo and Mojance, writes Alsat.

This pig virus endangers domestic animals and farms, in which case they have been located as six foci of infection in a radius of 3 km.

Since there is no medicine or vaccine for this virus, the Agency will implement the annihilation of the pigs in this perimeter, in which case the compensation will be made to the cattle breeders and farmers.

This pig virus, according to the authorities, is not transmitted to humans.
