Residents of the Lviv and Volyn regions turned out to be the organizers of the illegal transportation of men abroad.

According to the investigation, the suspects set up a scheme for illegal crossing of the border by men subject to military service.

For 8,000 US dollars, they guaranteed a conscript that they would take him across the state border of Ukraine.

"During the crossing of the state border, namely during the passport control, the employees of the border service did not enter relevant information into the information base about crossing the border, which made it possible for the latter to leave the country without hindrance," the prosecutor's office reported.

Two residents of the Lviv and Volhynia regions were informed of the suspicion of organizing the illegal transportation of conscripts across the state border, committed by a group of persons based on a prior conspiracy, for selfish motives (Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The suspects were taken into custody, and the law enforcement officers are trying to identify other accomplices of the crime.
