The newly acquired Su-25 fighter plane of the Malian army crashed.

According to APA, the fact was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Mali.

However, the details of the accident were not reported.

Military experts analyzing the video of the accident obtained by the local mass media claim that the plane that crashed was not the Su-25, but the Albatros L-39.

Although the former Czechoslovakian-made L-39 is intended for training, African countries also use it as a fighter.

These planes are among the military equipment that Russia sent to Mali in August.
