The Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Kyrylo (Gundyaev) promised all the mobilized Russians who will die in Ukraine, eternal life in paradise.

The "spiritual politician" of the occupiers stated this during a sermon.

Kirill called the war in Ukraine "internecine warfare".

"If a person remains faithful to his vocation, and if he fulfills his duty and dies, then he is obliged to perform a feat equivalent to a sacrifice. And therefore, this sacrifice washes away all sins," said the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, speaking of the newly mobilized.

According to Kirill, eternal life awaits the Russians who died in Ukraine.

Earlier, he called on the Russian occupiers to "go boldly and fulfill their military duty."

"And therefore go boldly to fulfill your military duty, as the scriptures say, you will be with God in his kingdom, in his glory, in his eternal life," Patriarch Kirill said.

Earlier it was reported that the head of the UOC MP Onufriy met with the captured occupiers and wished "that God protect all people on the battlefield"
