Timchenko wrote about this on his social networks.
"I took part in a discussion with Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank Group. We talked about the needs of Ukraine and Europe in renewable energy," he wrote.
Timchenko expressed gratitude to Banza for his commitment to allocate $40 billion annually to combat climate change. He also thanked him for his efforts to restore confidence in carbon markets.
To recap, at the COP28 conference, DTEK and the world's leading wind turbine manufacturer Vestas signed a memorandum providing for the completion of the construction of the largest wind farm in Eastern Europe, the Tylihulska Wind Farm. The total investment in the project exceeds 650 million euros, and the installed capacity of the plant will be 500 MW.
