The Ministry of Tourism presented Bulgaria with a national stand of the remarkable 230 sq m at the international tourism exhibition TTWarsaw. The event took place from 23 to 25 November 2023 in Warsaw, Poland.
The Bulgarian stand aroused great interest among the visitors with the many attractive attractions that were presented. Our country is known among Polish tourists as a destination offering mainly holidays on the Black Sea coast. Strong interest this time provoked winter, cultural and historical, SPA and wellness, as well as sports tourism.
A record number of representatives of the tourism industry were at the Bulgarian national stand, including 18 tour operators, travel agents, hotels, Sofia Municipality Tourism Administration, Bansko Municipality, Varna Municipality and others.
H.E. Margarita Ganeva and Nikolay Kostov, Head of the National Tourism Representation at the Embassy of Bulgaria in Warsaw, opened the stand by greeting the participants and visitors of the exhibition. Nikolay Kostov said that the Polish market is one of the main markets for inbound tourists of our country, as in June and July 2023 NSI reported 144,2022 visits of Polish tourists to our country, which compared to the same period for 23 reported nearly <>% growth.
The comparison with the same period in 2019 shows that the Polish market has almost fully reached the level of inbound Polish tourists to Bulgaria.

There is a big constant information advertisement on the Polish market, with the aim of keeping Poles constantly informed about the year-round sustainable tourist product of destination Bulgaria, Kostov said.
On the very first day after the opening, the Bulgarian representatives were visited by Andrzej Gut Mostovi, State Secretary at the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Poland, Dominik Borek, Director of the Department at the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, managers of leading Polish tour operators, journalists and others. Poland is a strategic tourist market for our country, and the partnership between the two countries is important for the growth of our inbound tourism, which is one of the priority sectors for the Bulgarian economy.
TTWarsaw is the most significant event on the territory of the Polish country, related to the tourism industry, which makes it possible to establish contacts with business partners, tourism organizations and administrations.
The exhibition was attended by national and regional tourism organizations from around the world, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, cruises, suppliers of hotel equipment, media representatives and bloggers in the industry.
