By the end of November we will announce the application procedure "Development of innovations in enterprises". It has a budget of 127m euros. Lv. and is under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises (CIP) programme. Milena Stoycheva has educational degrees and specializations from Bulgarian and international at the forum "Responsible Business Behavior", organized by the Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises at the MIR. "This is a procedure that is entirely aimed at improving the capabilities of Bulgarian companies to introduce new models and practices of work that are in line with global trends," Stoycheva said.

In front of representatives of over 400 companies, Minister Stoycheva stressed that the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, through various financial instruments, encourages companies to invest in new technologies and green projects. Currently, the "Innovation Implementation" procedure is active for application. It will finance companies for the acquisition of facilities, machinery, equipment, "know-how", etc. Companies are supported to become more modern and environmentally responsible, in line with OECD guidelines and taking into account the impact on the environment and society, it became clear from her words.

"The Fund of Funds is about to announce financing for projects aimed at a circular economy and in particular energy and resource efficiency in the form of a guarantee product amounting to EUR 198 million. Stoycheva also announced and stressed that under the Bulgarian Development Bank there are various opportunities to support innovative and green projects of small and medium-sized enterprises.

"The Ministry of Innovation and Growth has recognized interaction with business as its priority. I hope that we will work closely together, to encourage partnership between public institutions and business. In this way, we can provide a good environment for business development in Bulgaria, "the minister said.

"We encourage the participation of representatives of the Bulgarian business in more world exhibitions. We are working hard to turn Bulgaria into an innovation hub for Southeast Europe. Our mission is to transform our country as a place for new technologies and to be an example of implementing more effective and better ways of business development", concluded Minister Stoycheva.

The Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises presented during the forum its priorities and tasks as a National Contact Point for promoting the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development for responsible business conduct. The event was also attended by the Minister of Environment and Water Julian Popov, Minister of Environment and Water in the caretaker government of Marin Raykov from 12, representatives of employers' organizations, academia, business, etc.
