The rupee appreciated by 83 paise to 23.<> against the dollar amid a positive trend in the stock market and a weak trend in the US currency in the global markets.

Stock Market Today: Today i.e. on Thursday, October 27, the Indian stock market (stock market) has taken a break. Today, both the benchmark indices of the stock market opened with gains in early trading. In early trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 411.17 points to 63,559.32. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose 115.9 points to 18,973.15.

At around 10 am, the Sensex was trading 499.76 points (0.79%) higher at 63,647.91 and the Nifty was up 150.00 points (0.80%) at 19,007.25.

At the same time, the three-day decline in the rupee finally stopped on Friday amid the positive trend of the stock market and the weak trend of the US currency in the global markets. At the interbank foreign exchange market, the rupee opened at 83.23 and touched a high of 83.24. This is an increase of two paise compared to the previous closing level. On Thursday, the rupee had settled at 83.23 against the US dollar.

Let us know that last week there was a continuous decline in the stock market. For the sixth straight session on Thursday, the Sensex fell 900.91 points, or 1.41 per cent, to close at 63,148.15. During this period, the Sensex has lost a total of 3,279.94 points, or 4.93 percent. At the same time, due to the decline in the stock market for the sixth consecutive trading session yesterday, the total capital of investors has been lost to Rs 17.77 lakh crore.
