Oil prices rose slightly in Asian trade on Monday, with market attention focused on tight supply ahead of the winter season and a "soft landing" of the U.S. economy, Reuters reported.
Brent, a reference for Europe, added 33 cents, or 0.4 percent, to 94.29 points.
U.S. light crude rose 31 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $90.70 a barrel.
With the rise in oil prices starts the new week
Industry data reported last week that last week US crude oil reserves rose by about 1.6 million. despite analysts' expectations for a drop of about 300,000 barrels.
