People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak published an annex to the contract for the purchase of a large number of printer cartridges by the state-owned company NNEGC Energoatom at significantly inflated prices. The overpayment will be more than UAH 1.5 million.

"Why should Energoatom even lay such a margin on printer cartridges at tenders for UAH 3 million?" the MP wrote indignantly in his Telegram channel.

Judging by the published document, Energoatom plans to purchase, in particular, 60 cartridges of the HP CF226A model at a price of UAH 8.73 thousand excluding VAT per piece (i.e. UAH 10.47 thousand including VAT). In total, the state-owned company will spend 628.5 thousand hryvnias on their purchase.

The cost of such a cartridge in the online store (including taxes) is 5.5 thousand hryvnias. Thus, Energoatom is ready to overpay almost 300 thousand hryvnias in just one position.

In total, the company plans to purchase nine different items of printer cartridges in the amount of 248 pieces. If we compare the prices of other goods with their cost in online stores, it turns out that the total overpayment of the state-owned company is more than UAH 1.5 million.

"I have only one explanation - they just don't want to knock down their hand for the sake of these couple of million," MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak commented on the inflated prices in the contract.

Earlier, the state-owned company Energoatom purchased 10 buses for the transportation of employees in the amount of UAH 281.3 million. The cost of one bus is at the level of the new Ferrari supercar.
