In Ukraine, from October 1, when calculating the amount of annual ordered gas capacity for household consumers who do not fully or partially receive gas supply, only unsealed gas appliances will be taken into account.
This was reported by the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission.
It is noted that these changes will help reduce the financial burden on household consumers who consumed minimal volumes of gas during the previous gas year, which lasts from October 2022 to September 2023.
To recap, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that the government is not going to consider changes in tariffs for heat and hot water on the eve of the autumn-winter period.
"We also decided that there will be no changes in the natural gas market either - heat suppliers will continue to receive volumes of natural gas from Naftogaz at a fixed price of UAH 7.4 per cubic meter," the prime minister said.
According to him, this is the preferential price that will allow not to raise tariffs.
