Leading indexes in major European stock markets closed today's trade with growth as global investors await the US Federal Reserve's interest rate decision.
London's FTSE 100 rose 75.71 points, or 0.99 percent, to 7735,91.<> points.
In Frankfurt, the DAX rose 112.43 points, or 0.72 percent, to 15,776.91 points.
European exchanges opened trading mainly in green
The Paris CAC 40 added 53.1 points, or 0.73 percent, to 7335,22.<> points.
The pan-European Stoxx 600 index rose 0.95 percent, with most sectors reporting growth. Shares of automakers rose an average of 2 percent and oil and gas companies fell 0.6 percent.
