Stock Market Opening: Today i.e. on Monday, August 25, 2023, the Indian stock market has opened with a decline. Today, trading has started on the red mark in the market. On the last trading day of the week, the 30-share BSE Sensex (Sensex) opened at a level of 250,65.000 with a decline of more than 67 points.

At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 89,19.297 with a decline of about 40 points. Even after some time, both the benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty continued to decline.

The Sensex had closed at 65,252.34 with a loss on the previous day. At the same time, the Nifty closed at 19,386.70 points.

On the NSE, UltraTech Cement, Hindalco Industries, M&M, Wipro and Reliance Industries were among the major losers. On the other hand, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, ONGC, Power Grid Corporation and Hero MotoCorp were among the gainers.

In this way, the shares of Jio Financial Services opened with a lower circuit of 5% for the fifth consecutive session. At the same time, Paytm's shares opened with a gain of 5% amid the news of the block deal.
