In Ukraine, pensions of judges from April 2022 to April 2023 increased by UAH 5.3 thousand and amounted to UAH 97.7 thousand per month.

This is stated in the report of the Pension Fund, which is available to OBOZREVATEL.

In total, 3639 judges receive pensions (life payment by law). For comparison, there are 10.69 million pensioners in Ukraine. On the scale of the Pension Fund, the pension costs of judges are negligible, but it is the only group that receives special payments.

Recall that after the March indexation in the country increased the average pension - now it is a little more than 5 thousand hryvnias. At the same time, the PFU calculated which regions have the largest pensions.

  • Kyiv — 7129 UAH
  • Donetsk region — 6560 UAH
  • Luhansk region — 6049 UAH
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 5804 UAH

The smallest pensions are in Ternopil (3998 UAH), Zakarpattia (4164 UAH) and Chernivtsi (4182 UAH) regions.

From June 1, working pensioners will begin to pay the transferred pensions. The recalculation will be paid immediately in three months - April, May, June. However, the SFedU warned that the increase may be insignificant.
