E-commerce platform Meeshow has crossed 50 million downloads on Google Play and iOS App Store. Mobile data analysis firm Data.ai said that Meesho has crossed this figure faster than any shopping app.

Data.ai said in a statement that Meesho has achieved the target of 50 million downloads in six years. In this, Meesho got more than half the downloads (27.4 million) in 2022. With just 13.6MB in size, Meesho's Android app is the lightest e-commerce app in India on the Play Store, making it easily installed even on low-cost smartphones, according to the firm.

Lexi Sydow, Head of Insights, Data.ai, said, "We are delighted to partner with Meesho and provide them with the insights they need to continue their business.

Megha Agarwal, Chief Experience Officer (CXO) of User Growth at Meesho, said that the number of users with smartphone and internet penetration in India is 75-80 million and there is a huge growth opportunity for the company.
