Family holidays at the sea will be more expensive this summer.

Minimum 1700 BGN should set aside a family with two young children for a week at a resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, the Institute for Tourism Analysis and Assessment calculates.

Higher this year are the prices of accommodation, beach accessories, food and drinks.

Tourists expect at least 30% higher prices for accommodation and on average between 10 and 20% more expensive umbrellas and sunbeds compared to last summer.

Expectations are that after June 15 the budget for sea holidays will swell by at least 30% - both for the nights and in the menus of the restaurants.
