More than 40% increase in foreign tourists is expected in Bulgaria this summer.

This was stated by the Director of the Institute for Tourism Analysis Rumen Draganov in the show "Bulgaria in the morning".

According to him, most tourists in Bulgaria are expected to come traditionally from Israel, Great Britain, but also from the Middle East.

"We're not worried about the summer season. For the first three months of the year we are 27th as a destination in the world, we had such growth at the end of last year, "Draganov said.

According to him, Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Varna and Burgas already report more tourists than last year.

Rumen Draganov cites a British study, according to which Bulgaria ranks first as the most profitable place to travel, along with the Greek resort of Marmaris. The same study shows that the appreciation in the tourism industry in Bulgaria is 7.9%, while in Greece the prices are twice as high as in Bulgaria.

According to the Institute for Tourism Analysis in Greece, there are expected to be 630,6 euros this year. trips of Bulgarians, while in the interior of the country the trips are expected to be <> million.
