Alibaba Hiring: The company has said that it will recruit 3,000 university graduates amid reports of layoffs.

New Delhi:

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, China's largest company, plans to hire 15,000 people. The giant Chinese tech group is denying the report of job cuts. Along with this, the hiring system is also proving that the company is still recruiting.

In a statement released on Weibo on Thursday, the Chinese e-commerce platform said its "six major business divisions will require 15,000 new recruits in total." The Chinese tech firm dismissed reports of layoffs as rumours and said the layoffs were part of a normal inflow.

Bloomberg reported earlier this week that Alibaba's cloud division has begun a round of job cuts (Alibaba Layoffs). During this layoff process, the number of employees of the company can be reduced by about 7%.
