The stock market closed sharply.

Sensex today closed above the psychological level of 61000 and Nifty closed above the psychological level of 18000.

Sensex closed up 463 points at 61112 and Nifty closed up 149 points at 18065.

ADANIENT, ADANIPORTS, NESTLEIND, WIPRO, BRITANNIA were among the fastest growing stocks in Nifty. 

Let us tell you that due to keeping away from the business of investors in the morning, the rally in the domestic stock market stopped for four days and there was a lot of ups and downs in the Sensex, Nifty in the opening trade on Friday.

During this period, the 30-share Sensex of BSE was down by 73.79 points at 60,575.59 points.

In the Sensex, Bajaj Finserv, Asian Paints, Hindustan Unilever, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid, Bajaj Finance and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the major losers.

On the other hand, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Sun Pharma and Reliance Industries were trading with gains.

In Asian markets, Seoul bourses ended with losses while Japan, Shanghai and Hong Kong bourses were trading with gains.

US markets closed with a good profit on Thursday.
