After Easter, the prices of chicken eggs will drop by a third.

Taras Vysotsky, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, said this on the air of a nationwide telethon.

According to Vysotskyi, many factors caused the increase in the price of eggs, including the destruction of many poultry farms by the occupiers.

The deputy minister says that after Easter there will be a decrease in the price of eggs, which should last at least until mid-summer.

"We currently see that it will be from 20 to 40%, depending on what the future situation will be on the feed market. For now, we can expect that they will become cheaper by at least a third," he said.

The price of chicken

Unlike eggs, the production of chicken meat was less affected by the war.

Therefore, Vysotskyi predicts that chicken prices will not rise again.

"A stable situation is also predicted in the near future, both in terms of production volumes and prices. No price increases or shortages are expected," the deputy minister concluded.

Previously, we reported how much and for which products the prices will increase until Easter.
