Wall Street's main indexes opened today's trading session in the green as fears of a looming banking crisis eased, while investors turned their eyes to tomorrow's US consumer price inflation data, which is expected to give a hint of what the next step of the UFR, reported Reuters.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 89.83 points, or 0.27 percent, to 32,807.43.

The broader Standard & Poor's 500 added 18.93 points, or 0.47 percent, to 4,046.74.

Tokyo closed in the red against gains on Wall Street

The tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 84.21 points, or 0.71 percent, to 12,010.45.
