Poland insists that the European Union use all the tools at its disposal to limit the amount of Ukrainian grain entering the Polish market, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said, quoted by Reuters.

"We demand the use of all regulatory tools – quotas, duties, which will limit or block the import of Ukrainian grain into Poland," said Mateusz Morawiecki at a press conference.

The case involving the import of Ukrainian grain is also on the agenda in Bulgaria and Romania, as grain producers on both sides of the Danube are preparing large-scale protests on April 7, BTA recalls.

Today, the road to the Kardam checkpoint on the border with Romania was blocked as a warning by farmers from all over the country for more than an hour.
