Adidas accused BLM's 3-line logo design that may mislead the public.

[Financial Channel/Comprehensive Report] Well-known sports brand Adidas has appealed to the U.S. Trademark Office to reject the 3-line trademark application of Black Lives Matter (BLM). Adidas believes that this may Mislead the public.

Adidas pointed out in the document that the yellow line design of the BLM Global Network Foundation (Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation) will be confused with the famous 3 lines of Adidas.

Adidas tried to prevent BLM from using the design on products that Adidas also made, such as shirts, hats and bags.

Adidas declined to comment, and the BLM Global Network Foundation did not respond to a request for comment on Tuesday (28th).

The USPTO has given BLM until May 6 to respond.
