Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Monday hinted at a 'big announcement' in the next few weeks regarding AI tools capable of communicating.

When asked about the possibility of a tool like the state-of-the-art AI tool 'ChatGPT' being developed in India as well, Vaishnav said, "Wait for a few weeks, there will be a big announcement about it."

When Vaishnav was asked about the nature of the big announcement, he said, "At present, the Parliament session is going on, so I cannot say anything about it." He did not give any further details about this. Refused to.

ChatGPT, a tool based on artificial intelligence (AI), has become a topic of discussion worldwide.

This AI tool has emerged as an important aspect for various technology sectors due to its ability to provide detailed and fairly accurate answers to the questions asked.

ChatGPT has been developed by OpenAI, a San Francisco-based AI company in the US.

Its popularity has increased tremendously within a few weeks of its release for use.

Now Union Information Technology and Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said that after the failure of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), the government has taken immediate steps to help domestic startups.

This ensured that they were not adversely affected by the 'minor crisis'.

He called upon the entire startup community to consider the Indian banking sector as their trusted partner.

Vaishnav also mentioned India's rapid strides in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing.

Addressing the India Global Forum event, the Minister said that there was a time when India was seen only as a technology consumer, but today many global companies prefer Indian startups, entrepreneurs and academicians as their partners, because This has a positive effect on the development of technology.

He said, "...we would like to use Indian talent in these two technologies to develop solutions for India and the world." Asked if India could create something like ChatGPT, the minister said , "Wait a few weeks, there will be a big announcement."

He said that a reliable partner like India is important for the global economy.

According to Vaishnav, there is a worldwide consensus that India should emerge as a major semiconductor manufacturing destination.

The Government is working sincerely to ensure a vibrant semiconductor manufacturing eco-system in the country.

The minister said that after the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, the government started taking immediate steps to take care of Indian startups that had deposits in the bank.

He said, “We took immediate steps for that minor crisis and connected with the entire startup community.

This ensured that whatever deposits they wanted to transfer to Indian banks, it was done smoothly... The whole process was executed smoothly with cooperation between various units of the government.

Vaishnav asked global entrepreneurs and innovators to take advantage of India's advantage to develop reliable technology for the country and the world.
