According to data released by the Korea International Trade Association on Tuesday (28th), South Korea’s trade balance with China had a deficit of US$3.933 billion (approximately NT$119.2 billion) in January this year, making China South Korea’s largest trade deficit country.

Not only that, but in the first two months of this year, South Korea’s cumulative deficit with China reached US$5.074 billion (approximately NT$153.1 billion), and the scale of the deficit also ranked first.
