Wall Street's main indexes opened today's trading session in positive territory, as a deal reached to buy the deposits and debt of bankrupt Silicon Valley Bank (Silicon Valley Bank) allayed concerns that stress in the banking system could grow, Reuters reported .

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 39.19 points, or 0.12 percent, to 32,276.72.

The broader Standard & Poor's 500 added 11.94 points, or 0.30 percent, to 3,982.93.

Tokyo followed Wall Street's rise

The high-tech Nasdaq gained 44.58 points or 0.38 percent to 11,868.54 points, BTA notes.
